I enjoyed reading this article; it covered almost everything
It was like connecting all dots
Today is May 25,2007 and this article was preared at least ayear ago; but as I read this the us navy is presentlyconducting naval maneuvers very near the persian coast
it is practically inviting the iranians to come and join them in a "snake dance" I beleive it will just be a matter of days snd this war of the world shall begin

In the world we found a number of towns and other objects, named to Plevna - Russian name of Pleven and in connection with Russian Turkish war 1877 – 1878.

You are invited to add all facts you know in this connection!

Thank you in advance!

Here's a new book out from Naval Institute Press about the last time U.S. and Iranian naval forces clashed: "No Higher Honor: Saving the USS Samuel B. Roberts in the Persian Gulf." It tells the story of the Roberts, which escorted oil tankers as part of Operation Earnest Will until 14 April 1988, when it hit and was nearly sunk by an Iranian mine. Four days later, the U.S. retaliated, sinking two Iranian warships in the biggest surface-warfare battle since World War II. See Nohigherhonor.com.
